I read about this in a computing magazine at work: Barclays is offering free antivirus to its online banking customers. If you are a Barclays customer this may be useful to you, especially as it is fairly easy to sign up for online banking!

I read about this a few weeks ago. As a Barclays customer, I went looking for the download, but it wasn’t there. Looks like it is, now.
Google Pack offers some AV software as well.
Either way, I’m sticking with AVG Free Edition. It works, it’s free, and I’m not at the mercy of Google or Barclays as to whether they renew some limited license.
