I just renewed my motorcycle tax online at http://www.direct.gov.uk/taxdisc and found it as simple as I did last year. I am still amazed at how many posts Andy gets on his blog post on the subject from people who keep complaining about it being complex or asking advice. Especially as he is obviously not connected with the DVLA and the website for registering online is printed on the tax renewal form that is sent out!

Right… but the thing I find most amazing is that people type the address of the DVLA website *into Google or a search engine* and that brings them to my site. It’s bizarre.
Evidently you are going for some of the same search engine-driven traffic with a post like this
Actually I saw several posts in your comments RSS feed, and thought i’d add a trackback to your site reinforcing how simple the site really is to use
