Infrared Photography

I converted my 300D to Infrared at the weekend. I will write more about the conversion soon, and also about the post processing.

One thing you choose in post processing is the colour of the sky, but even choosing the exposure levels is really hard. I don’t know which exposures I prefer, let alone the blue vs. red sky

Alternatives to Buying a Dedicated Macro Lens for your DSLR

Digital photography school have a post on alternatives to buying a dedicated macro lens (some of these work with some compact cameras too)

Also worth mentioning is their post with some links to guides on taking photos of water drops

These are what I came up with when I first tried - I like the idea of drops hitting an apple though

Burnt out

I have been incredibly busy over the last month, and took very few photos

I did find a burnt out car on a forest walk, and decided to try some dark moody black and white shots out of it, but I think they might be a bit too dark
